baseball fields, youth fields, basketball courts and a paved walking
trail.
Some local historical points of interest are Crowley's Ridge, the
Sunken Lands, Marked Tree Lock and Dam, Floodways, the Indian Mounds
and the Archeological Survey Data Point.
National Historical Registry properties include the
Poinsett County
Courthouse, Bacon Hotel, Rivervale Inverted Siphons, the Modern News
Building and others. Local events include Festival on the Ridge,
Parker Homestead Days, Cotton Pickin' Jubilee, the Rice
Festival,
Terrapin Derby and Wild Duck Festival.
